And the winner is...

After careful consideration of various picture hosting sites, I've decided to go with Flickr. It allows me to organise my pictures into albums, it has a layout that makes sense, and it provides an easy way to get the code needed to embed the pics. The only restriction it puts on third party hosting is that it requires the pictures to link back to their site, but I don't have a problem with that.

So now begins the long process of moving all my photos over and changing all the links. A process made even more difficult by Photobucket's constant fuck-up-erry as now I can't even download my pictures from their site. Oh they tell me I can, but when I try to it just says "Download not available". This means that I have to upload all the pictures again from my laptop, which is doable but time consuming cos I have to search through my folders and find the right ones. (And, having said that, I'm not sure I actually have all of the Oscars photos saved on my laptop so I'm not sure what I'm going to do about those.)

I've replaced a few pictures already and started off easy by going for the posts with only a handful of images in them, but even so it's taking quite a while. I dread to think how long it's going to take me to re-do all my recaps, some of which have over 100 images each.

And I am still planning to do a post about my holiday. Hopefully I'll get round to that this weekend, before too much time has passed and I've forgotten it all!
